Bio: After more than a decade on their own, the members of The Police have reunited to put on one of the most anticipated and long-awaited concert tours of the decade. Although the members of The Police have each enjoyed their own successes, with frontman Sting's solo career probably being the most recognized, it is likely that the band's reunion will have a synergistic effect on the careers of each of the individual members in that the three of these powerful musiciains together will be able to achieve greater success than any of them could achieve on their own. Other members of The Police, Stewart Copeland (Drums) and Andy Summers (Guitar) have also enjoyed their own musical success over the past decade, but much of it has been 'behind the scenes' so to speak. Stewart Copeland has produced several scores for hit television shows, such as The Equalizer and Andy Summers has been a studio musician on several popular artists' hit albums. Nevertheless, The Police have one of the most popular reunion tours of all time and The Police concert tickets are selling out in less than a day.
