Bio: Beyoncé Giselle Knowles, more commonly known simply as Beyoncé was born in Houston, Texas. She rose to fame quicly in the nineties as the lead singer of the R&B group, Destiny's Child. Destiny's Child has the prud distinction of being the best-selling all-female group of all time. In June of 2003, after several commercially successful albums with Destiny's Child, Beyoncé released her own debut solo album entitled, Dangerously In Love. The album became one of the most successful albums of 2003 and included number-one singles "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy". Dangerously In Love earned Knowles five Grammy Awards in a single night at the 2004 Grammy Awards. After Destiny's Child officially disbanded in 2005, Beyonce continued her solo carerr and expanded into acting, doing television commercials and more. Her and long-time boyfriend Jay-Z were finally married in 2008.
