Bio: Reba McEntire came on the country scene around 1976, but it took her almost eight years to achieve critical acclaim for her most successful records, entitled "How Blue" and "Somebody Should Leave," which were top sellers by the end of 1984. Three years later, in 1987, Reba McEntire was named Female Vocalist of the Year by the Association of Country Music and she achieved this distinctive honor four consecutive times. Throughout the nineties, McEntire continued to tour and make records, and even landed some parts in television and movies. In the year 2000, Reba became the star of the hit Broadway musical, Annie Get Your Gun in which she played Annie Oakley. McEntire has been on a hit TV show, Reba, been in several movies, including Tremors, with Kevin Bacon and continues to electrify the country music world with hit songs and catchy melodies.
