Bio: Rascal Flatts is a top touring and performing country music band featuring front man and lead vocalist Gary LeVox (real name: Gary Wayne Vernon, Jr.). Sometimes people mistakenly think that Gary is 'Rascal Flatts', however as the band has attained more notoriety, this occurs less frequently than when the band was coming up. Rascal Flatts has released four albums to date, along with one live performance, and was featured in the Disney Movie, "Cars," performing Tom Cochrane's hit song, "Life Is A Highway." Most recently, Rascal Flatts performed on the 2007 CMA Awards along with Country Music Artist of the Year and former American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood. Rascal Flatts had the top selling album of any genre in 2006 with "Me And My Gang", which is quite a feat for a country music group since country music's fan base is considered by some to not be quite as large as the fan base's of other music genres, such as pop or rock.
