Bio: Keith Urban, perhaps better known in recent times as Nicole Kidman's husband, has used his rugged good looks and gravelly voice to appeal to female fans worldwide. Keith has an interesting, atypical country music background, in that he was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia - definitely NOT your typical blue-blooded Nashville boy. Keith Urban's first American album, "Keith Urban," was released in 1991, produced three top hits and won Keith the Academy of Country Music Awards: Top New Male Vocalist Award. His 2002 release, "Golden Road," was another hit album for Keith. It featured the hit single "Somebody Like You." His 2004 album, "Be Here," earned Keith a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album and his latest album, "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing," which was released in 2006, continues to do well. Keith Urban concert ticket sales continue to grow and if all of that success wasn't enough, he was married to actress Nicole Kidman in 2006. Although Keith has endured a few rough spots over the years, most recently undergoing treatment for alcoholism, his music continues to drive fans crazy and audiences continue to swell at his live performances.
